These terms and conditions apply to all services and products provided by Excursion Expert Amsterdam (hereinafter "we", "us" or "Excursion Expert Amsterdam") to our customers (hereinafter "you" or "the customer"). By using our services or booking activities, you agree to the terms and conditions as described below.

1. General
Excursion Expert Amsterdam offers tourist activities, including boat trips and other recreational excursions in and around Amsterdam. These general conditions apply to all reservations, bookings and agreements made through our website, by telephone or in person.

2. Reservation and Booking
- Booking: To make a reservation, please fill out a booking form via our website, by phone or in person. The booking will not be confirmed until we have received your reservation and payment has been processed.

- Payment: Payments may be made through the payment methods available on our website or by any other agreed upon method. All payments must be made in full prior to the activity unless otherwise agreed upon.

- Confirmation of Booking: After your payment is received, we will send you confirmation of your booking, including details of the activity, date and time, and other relevant information.

3. Cancellation and Modification of Booking
- Customer cancellation: You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled activity at no cost. Cancellations within 48 hours before the activity will be charged 50% of the total booking value. Cancellations on the day of the activity or no-show will be charged the full amount.

- Cancellation by Excursion Expert Amsterdam: We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled activity due to unforeseen circumstances (such as bad weather, technical problems or other force majeure). In that case, we will offer an alternative date or you will receive a full refund.

- Change of booking: We may change bookings by agreement with the customer, subject to availability. Any change fees will be communicated to the customer in advance.

4. Prices and Payments
- Prices: Prices for our activities are displayed on our website and are subject to change without notice. All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

- Payment terms: Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payments via credit card, iDEAL, bank transfer and other payment methods offered on our website.

5. Participation in Activities.
- Age and Health: The client is responsible for verifying the appropriateness of the activity for their age and health. Some activities may have specific requirements (e.g., minimum age or health status). It is your responsibility to ensure that you or your group meet these requirements.

- Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse or terminate participation in an activity if the client behaves contrary to the guide's instructions or otherwise behaves dangerously or disruptively to other participants.

- Safety: All participants must follow the safety instructions of our guides and staff. We are not responsible for damage, loss or injury caused by inattention or failure to follow safety precautions.

6. Liability
- Limitation of liability: We are not liable for loss, damage or injury unless it is the direct result of our gross negligence or intentional acts. Clients participate in our activities at their own risk.

- Force Majeure: We are not liable for any delay, damage or loss caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather, natural disasters, war, or other unforeseen events that prevent the performance of the activity.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

8. Intellectual Property.
All rights to the content of our website, photos, videos, logos, and other materials we provide are owned by Excursion Expert Amsterdam or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. It is not permitted to use these materials without permission.
